Sad to say, none of these bible colleges teach accuracy of the Scriptures. Why? In order to get more customers or new students to enroll in their programs, the administration is obliged to embrace different kinds of beliefs in order for the college to accommodate several students along with their various beliefs and principles. No wonder people from different religious beliefs (i.e. Pentecostals, Baptists, Presbyterians, etc.) stay under one roof in one college. The college administration needs to find a common denomination to please everybody. The administration has to do this so that the school will continue its operation--keeping jobs and maintaining the flow of money coming. Money becomes the goal to reach and the Truth...well, watered down . No wonder those who get under such institutions become worse than the first day they enrolled.
Bible colleges teach more of human philosophies, indoctrinating their students of what they believe instead of what the Scriptures say. If they did teach what is written, bible colleges will all disappear because they go against the Scriptures. They are also taking the role of the Holy Spirit to guide and make the scriptures be "understood" by the believers. The teachers in the bible colleges act like "gurus" with their impressive badges and titles (i.e. PhD).
Would you pay thousands of dollars to get to know the Truth and get a nice certificate for a future job as a pastor, minister etc. all under the name of God?
That sounds interesting but not biblical! Could you imagine The Lord Jesus or one of His disciples opening a school, charging money for the Truth, and making a business from it? I cannot imagine that, but denominations, obviously, have no shame doing it under God's name .
The disciples of the Lord received the Truth freely, so do they have to give it for free? Yes, of course without charge! The Lord never intended to make profit from the Truth and did not want to operate a lucrative business. He wanted the other way. He came and died to build His Church (assembly) with His Precious blood.
Today, with money, denominations grow fast into having luxurious mega buildings and well paid jobs. During The Lord's ministry, the disciples never built, never gained, and never got prestige from people (saved and unsaved), from the government, and from the support of any association. Why? Because all of them were working. All of them had different kind of jobs depending on their abilities and skills. Moreover, pastor-teachers and preachers did not get PAID, but received monetary GIFTS from the various local assemblies (churches).
No one received a salary as a payment for teaching or preaching the Truth. Everything was done purely and holy according to the New Covenant teaching.
Believers do not need to enroll in bible colleges. We only need to keep our nose in the New Covenant to know the Truth appropriated to us--God's assembly. Besides, spending time reading the scriptures gives one an equivalent of attaining the 12th grade in school. One may not gain a nice certificate for doing that, but the Truth that will be discovered and understood, with the help of the Holy Spirit, will be much more rewarding than a piece of colorful paper.
May The Lord guide us to stay away from bible colleges. May He help us know the scriptures with accuracy. May the Lord teach us to be gathered simply under His name without a mixture of human philosophy and confusing human doctrines.
