__The problem Christians face today is the Denominations or groups that
claim to have some vast knowledge but do not have the doctrine (The
Faith) of the assembly. They know all about the First Covenant and many
scrolls in the New Covenant, but still fail to see the doctrines of the
local assembly (church) because the doctrines go against their man-made
religions.
For example, Isaiah chapter 53 is a thorn in the flesh for the Jewish then and now. Some of them go as far as gluing the pages. Others ignore it, and still others interpret it as the suffering of the Israel’s nation only represented by a man.
Denominations today hate, distort, or never read nor preach some scrolls of the New Covenant (namely, First and Second Corinthians and First and Second Timothy) because these scrolls and the doctrines in them do not fit their own agenda. Thus, misleading other Christians especially the young ones with inaccurate teachings.
There are 33,000 plus denominations in 238 countries (http://www.bringyou.to/apologetics/a106.htm). Denominations include Non-denomination organizations, Baptists, Pentecostals, Fundamentalists, etc. In their head office, some people are already rich and some will become rich later. They open bible colleges and so on, all for the sake of money and creating jobs under their leadership. Some members of denominations even branch out to make other organizations (their own denominations), in as much the same way business people do in this world. It’s very lucrative! Moreover, they study topics based on a system (manuals and magazines) instead of studying purely and systematically the Bible. They also read the Bible like a “soup”, taking verses from all over mixing the First and New Covenant which leads to inconsistency and inaccuracy because they become out of context. A few examples of mingling the First with the New Covenant are: some of them keep circumcision, dedication of their babies, tithing, and pastors representing Moses with the authority of bringing people to God. They do not follow the New Covenant Christian doctrines. The superiority of the New Covenant in Christ does not allow us to linger in the First Covenant anymore. If we try to follow the First or mingle it with the New Covenant, it is a sin and evil to do it, because we are free in Christ. Hebrews 5:14,"...but solid food belongs to those who are spiritually mature, to those who on account of long usage have their powers of perception exercised to the point where they are able to discriminate between both that which is good in character and that which is evil." This verse is in relation to Christianity and Judaism. Now that Christ has come, it is sinful to return to the pictures of Him. Anything that reviles Christ in the affections and loyalties of men is evil. Hebrews 6:1, "Therefore, having put away once for all the beginning work of the Messiah [the first covenant in animal blood, i.e. the Mosaic economy], let us be carried along to that which is complete [the New Covenant in Jesus' blood]."

Denominations and The Assembly Contrasted
Talking to believers from different groups and denominations for the past years, I have seen them shocked and offended for what I have been saying about the New Covenant teachings particularly on the leadership of the local assemblies. I found it peculiar because the teaching was and is not from me--it is written in the scriptures! Every believer should understand that there is no mention and teaching of salary and profession (i.e. pastor-leader, preacher, evangelists, etc. as professions) in the New Covenant. Thus, doing these are against the word of God. Instead of seeing salary as a blessing from God, believers should see it as a curse for its implications of going against God's will for the church. Believers should move away from the "religious traditions" they have been brought up to or familiarized with since they got saved. Instead, they should look for the truth on what is actually written in the New Covenant for they will not be excused for their ignorance. Being faithful to the Lord is knowing His Words and obeying them. They are all written in black and white!
"The church began as a movement in Jerusalem. It became a philosophy in Greece, an institution in Rome, a culture in Europe and, when it came to America, it became a business... a highly profitable business. But God is coming back for a movement." - C. Brooks
Before the Catholic organization was established (365 A.D./after the death of Christ), there was the genuine Christianity. But after the formation of the Catholic organization, different groups and denomination evolved from it.
Here is a research that shows the lifestyles of so called evangelists/preachers depicting how Christianity became a profitable business to them.
