I am amazed once again with how people, especially those in denominations, concern too much about prophecies, but having not enough care for the assembly doctrines. It is like they think they already know everything about the teachings and the doctrines of the assembly so now they spend a lot of time on the prophecies. But in the reality, they know nothing about the assembly gathering and doctrinal points of the Lord's assembly. They are not grounded in the teaching of the assembly. A Christian who focuses on the prophecy of the end time is like a mechanic who always talks about gardening. Again, those prophecies belong to the Jews and the 144,000 tribulation time has nothing to do with the assembly time.
What I am saying is that, yes, we should know the book of Revelations but we don't have to make it our own foundation-- our all.
Likewise, remember that some people use the books of prophecies for sales and profit. To attract buyers, they promote it with sensationalism with the help of the media. They work to keep the rating high, to keep their show with excitement and entertainment at best, and to keep the interest going up!
But, where is the interest of finding the truth, doctrinal truth, of the local assembly? Instead of spending too much time in the prophecies, why don't we ask ourselves first if we are sound in the doctrines of the assembly? Forget about the prophecies out there that do not belong to us, the assembly. Many denominations do not understand the separation in the Scriptures. They take everything for themselves from Genesis to Revelations, and miss the part truly for the assembly. If we do that it will create confusion and we will never get the sound doctrines of the assembly. No wonder there are thousands of denominations and big religion--Catholicism, Protestantism, Muslim, etc.-- that will never get to the foundation of The Lord Jesus' only body: the assembly.
